Accuracy is the foundation of Worldlession. This policy explains how we check facts before publication.
What we check
- Names, dates, definitions and factual claims in every article.
- Any statistic: it must come from a named reputable institution, be dated, and be presented with its context — never as an unattributed "fact".
- Country-specific claims (laws, currencies, time zones, government systems) against official or encyclopedic sources.
- Quotations: we do not invent quotations. A quotation appears only when its source can be named.
Sources we rely on
We prefer primary sources (official statistics agencies, government portals, peer-reviewed research) and reputable secondary sources (established encyclopedias, major scientific institutions, respected news organizations for current events). Each article lists the institutions consulted.
What we will not publish
Unverifiable claims, fabricated statistics, invented experts or studies, and "facts" scraped from unreliable sources. When a claim cannot be verified, it is removed or qualified — we would rather say less than say something wrong.
Ongoing review
Fast-changing topics (prices, regulations, travel rules, software, current office-holders) are dated at publication and reviewed for updates. Readers can report suspected errors via our contact page; verified errors are corrected under our Corrections Policy.
